In The Dark
Insanity of the human race,
Greedy hearts and faceless face,
Cunning minds and hearts of stone,
Human feelings gone cold to the bone.
Throw away all that was good,
Put our necks into this noose,
Never see what we've become,
A species of fools come undone.
Come here looking for the truth,
See that we have everything left to prove,
Words of deceit from mouths of cruelty,
Fruits of what we ate from the tree.
Angels wings have broken,
There is nothing left to be spoken,
Nothing left to give hope,
No more turns at this road.
